Bc ferries cancelled a 90% reservation capacity and free resos offer due to community push back. Then waited a bit then randomly announced 80% reso capacity starting April 1st with no free resos now, rather flogging fare savers which is dynamic price gouging.

This is worse than the original offer to the community. Reservations almost double the cost of travel. Fare savers are never on commutable times but rather very early or late sailings. 

The community wants reliable boats, free reservations (especially for locals and commuters), and hourly service. It isn’t difficult. Why don’t they listen? Hours of community consultation but then they do the exact opposite of what the community asked for.
