Dear all, 

We, the undersigned, kindly request that Seton Hall University take immediate action to give free parking to all students and faculties. 
Why should students and faculty members who must travel to attend the classes they are paying thousands of dollars for also pay for their right to park? Is it a little mind-boggling?

As a commuter student myself, we should not be paying for parking. I must commute daily to school from a different county to Essex County. It is challenging because it takes about an hour for me to get to school, and sometimes, I will have to buy a cup of coffee to be behind the wheel. Not only do I have to worry about my family and myself to come up with the payment for tuition and other fees, but we have to worry about coming up with the payment for parking fees as well.
 

Many students and faculties commute one to two hours daily to get educated and teach at Seton Hall. Although some students may take the bus or the train to attend Seton Hall, they may want to avoid driving to school due to the fear of paying for parking. Furthermore, many of us are already struggling financially, and the most diminutive Seton Hall can do is provide everyone with free parking. 

Lastly, it is difficult for students and faculties to purchase a parking permit due to feeling dark about where the money is going. There is a need for more explanation and less mystery.
By Eliminating the parking fee for everyone, it will alleviate some stress on students and faculties. Also, build a community of trust and integrity.
 
We kindly request that Seton Hall University take the following action:
Eliminate parking fees for all students and faculties.
