We believe students should be given free parking at school. The current $60 parking pass is expensive, especially for students who have to pay for gas, insurance, and other expenses. Not every student has the extra money to pay $60 just to park at school each day.

We also feel that the current parking policy is unfair. Students are given three warnings before their car can be towed, and getting a towed vehicle back can cost hundreds of dollars. We are asking the school to remove the parking fee and allow students to park for free. Students should be able to come to school without worrying about being unable to afford parking or losing their vehicle because of a parking fee.

Better attendance: Free parking could make it easier for students who rely on cars to get to school consistently.
