We, the undersigned high school students are outraged by apathy and lack of action taken on behalf of Gilad Shalit, the Israeli young man, kidnapped by Hamas terrorists. We feel that this is a humanitarian cause, he was unjustly kidnapped and held away from his family for 5 ½ years. Visitations by the Red Cross or Magen David Adom have not been permitted. We ask that the international community speak out in a unified voice on his behalf as the Arab world seeks its own personal freedom that we afford Gilad Shalit his freedom right now.
