The B.C. government is still refusing to provide any evidence regarding why Eileen is being detained.
As a result, Eileen Wicks' lawyer has filed a 'habeas corpus' petition in the B.C. Supreme Court against the Vancouver Island Health Authority (aka Island Health) seeking Eileen's immediate release, stating that Eileen's apprehension and detention are unlawful and in breach of her rights under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
