For 23 years Kenneth DeAngelo Thomas has been charged with a crime he did not commit! Convicted of murder and accused by a single person, his sentence has withstood multiple appeals and even the recanting of the accusation by the one witness who testified that he committed the murder. The courts did not believe the testimony of the man that they believed to convict him. They upheld the conviction and 11 years later, evidence emerged that proved that not only did Kenneth Thomas not commit the murder, but the evidence of his innocence was hidden for 22 years! The first statements given by the states witness implicated another person. The witness testified that he was coerced by the investigators to implicate Kenneth Thomas. The evidence supports his story and we want justice! We want Delo freed from this wrongful conviction and we want the parties who are guilty of robbing him from the last 23 years of his life, held accountable! How many others have been victimized by these bad actors! We have to stand together and make sure that justice is served in this case and that Tennessee is placed under the magnifying glass for possible cases like his.
