Cierra “Monae” Edwards is a mother, an aunt, a daughter, and a dear friend who is currently incarcerated in Ohio due to some unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances. She was visiting family when she visited a store with some colleagues and an argument broke out, when a man pulled out a gun on them. A squabble occurred and they ended up taking the gun from the man. However, the police tracked them down with the license plate number from the car and arrested them and charged them with aggravated robbery for taking the man’s gun. She was also charged since she was in the car. Basically a story of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you know Cierra, then you know that this isn’t a situation that she would ever be in, but unfortunately she is and she needs us to come together for her.
