Cancer patients need to get to hospitals for treatment, currently it is a postcode lottery and up to the local authority to provide bus passes, some do some don't.

Its difficult enough to cope with cancer without the worry of how to get to treatment and transport should not be the worry of an NHS trust.

It should be simple enough to provide a free bus pass to cancer sufferers on the uk cancer register and would cost next to nothing to implement.

Many cancer patients cannot work and pay is cut or non existent if self employed, with the cost of living crisis it is important that cancer patients have worry free travel passes to get treatment.
