Free Aung San Suu Kyi & Burma’s 2,100 Political Prisoners

Free Aung San Suu Kyi & Burma’s 2,100 Political Prisoners

The Issue

Over the last decade, despite repeated urgings from the United Nations, European Union, and Western foreign governments, Burma's military junta has refused to release the 2,100 political prisoners under its control. While the government holds onto power, the basic living conditions of citizens grow worse and worse.

It's time for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to show leadership on this issue. We are asking you to take a stand for the civil, political, and human rights of all people in Burma. Demand that the Burmese government release Aung San Suu Kyi and the rest of those imprisoned on politically motivated charges.
