«Free and independent REFERENDUM on regime change in Iran»

Nationwide protests sparked by the death in custody of 22-year-old #Mahsa_Amini are being brutally quashed by the Iranian authorities. 

The “morality” police have routinely subjected women, girls, free thinkers, and religious and ethnic minority groups to arbitrary detention, torture and other ill-treatment for simply being different or not complying with Iran’s abusive and discriminatory laws for the past 43 years. 

Mahsa’s death sparked widespread protests across Iran that demanded regime change as one of its main slogan؛ #We_don’t_want_an_Islamic_Republic, #جمهوری_اسلامی_نمیخواهیم، as, without a regime change #Women_Life_Freedom, #Zan_Zendegi_Azadi will remain a dream. As usual the protests have been met with brutal force, leaving many injured and killed, including many children.

“Enough is enough” 

People in Iran are calling for a regime change towards democracy and they will not be silenced this time. We need to support them in their quest and stop the bloodshed now.

We CALL on the United Nations to take action NOW.

Please sign this petition and ask the United Nations to act by providing the mechanisms to hold a referendum on regime change – from an Islamic republic towards a secular democracy, where all Iranians across the globe (in Iran and outside of Iran) can vote on putting an end to a regime that no longer has any legitimacy for the majority of Iranians and move towards a rule by the people for the people. -اعتراضات سراسری ناشی از مرگ #مهسا امینی 22 ساله در بازداشت به طرز وحشیانه ای توسط مقامات ایرانی,سرکوب می شود

پلیس «اخلاق امر به معروف و نهی منکر» زنان، دختران، آزاداندیشان و گروه‌های اقلیت‌های مذهبی و قومی را به ‌دلیل متفاوت بودن یاعدم تبعیت از قوانین - توهین‌آمیز و تبعیض‌آمیز ایران به‌طور معمول در معرض بازداشت‌های خودسرانه، شکنجه و سایر بدرفتاری‌ها در 43 سال گذشته قرارداده است.

مرگ مهسا باعث اعتراضات گسترده ای در سراسر ایران شد و خواستار تغییر رژیم عنوان یکی از شعارهای اصلی آن بود:#ما_جمهوری_اسلامی_نمیخواهیم و شعارهای بدون درخواست تغییر رژیم مانند؛ #زن_زندگی_آزادی واین شعارها مانند یک رویاباقی خواهند ماند. طبق معمول، اعتراضات با خشونت وحشیانه مواجه شده و تعداد زیادی زخمی و کشته شده اند، از جمله بسیاری ازکودکان

مردم ایران خواهان تغییر رژیم به سمت دموکراسی هستند و این بار ساکت نخواهند ماند. ما باید از آنها در تلاششان حمایت کنیم وهمین حالا خونریزی را متوقف کنیم.

ما از سازمان ملل می خواهیم که هم اکنون اقدامی انجام دهد

لطفاً این طومار را امضا کنید و از سازمان ملل بخواهید تا با فراهم کردن مکانیسم‌هایی برای برگزاری همه‌پرسی در مورد تغییر رژیم از- جمهوری اسلامی به یک دموکراسی سکولار- که در آن همه ایرانیان در سراسر جهان (در ایران وخارج از ایران) بتوانند درمورد آن رای دهند، اقدام کند.
