Penny Wong is a prominent Australian politician who has been serving as a Labor Party Senator for South Australia since 2002. Known for her strong advocacy for equality and civil rights, she was the first Asian-born woman to be appointed to the Australian cabinet and the country's first openly lesbian member of the Parliament.
