My Story: How Twins Auto Inc. Deceived Me and Countless Others
My name is Dior wilson, and I am a victim of Twins Auto Inc.’s deceptive and fraudulent business practices. I am speaking out not just for myself, but for the many others who have been misled, manipulated, and financially harmed by this dealership.
I walked into Twins Auto Inc., located at 24310 W Grand River Ave, expecting a fair deal on a vehicle—just like anyone else. Instead, I was deceived into signing a fraudulent loan agreement, misled about my financing, and ultimately placed in a situation that has caused me financial stress, legal headaches, and emotional distress.
The Deception: False Financing and Hidden Loan Terms
I first purchased an SUV from Twins Auto. They assured me that my financing was through a finance company—a traditional lender. But when I contacted the finance company, they told me the truth: they were not my lender. Instead, they had simply purchased the loan from Twins Auto, meaning the dealership had been my original creditor all along—something they never disclosed.
When I confronted the dealership, instead of admitting to their deception, they pressured me into selecting another vehicle—another SUV—under the same false pretenses. This time, they claimed another finance company was my lender. Again, I checked. Again, I was lied to.
Twins Auto was the true lender, acting as a Buy Here, Pay Here (BHPH) dealership without the proper licensing. They hid this fact from me and likely from many others. By doing so, they took away my ability to shop for the best interest rates, negotiate fair terms, or make informed decisions about my finances.
The Fraud: Forged Documents and Title Manipulation
As if lying about my financing wasn’t enough, I later discovered that Twins Auto forged my signature on the title of my original vehicle, allowing them to resell the SUV without my knowledge or consent.
This isn’t just unethical—it’s illegal. It’s fraud.
The Hidden Danger: Salvaged Cars Sold as “Clean” Vehicles
Twins Auto advertises that they only sell clean-title vehicles, but I later learned that they sell salvage-title cars without informing customers. That means people are unknowingly purchasing cars that may have been in severe accidents, flooded, or deemed a total loss—putting their safety at risk.
How many other people have driven off that lot believing they were buying a reliable car, only to realize too late that they were sold a dangerous, devalued vehicle?
The Pattern: Targeting the Black Community with Predatory Loans
After speaking with others, I realized I wasn’t alone. Twins Auto targets the Black community, preying on those who may not have access to traditional financing. They trap people in unfair, high-interest loans, forge documents, and push them into deals designed to fail.
This is more than just a bad business practice—it’s a deliberate effort to exploit vulnerable consumers.
If You Are a Victim, Take Action
If you have also been misled, pressured, or financially harmed by Twins Auto Inc., I urge you to take action. You can file a complaint and report your experience to the following agencies:
✔ Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) – Report your claim by calling 877-999-6442 or visiting www.michigan.gov/difs
✔ Michigan Secretary of State (SOS) – Report title fraud, salvage vehicle misrepresentation, and dealership misconduct by calling 888-SOS-MICH (888-767-6424) or visiting www.michigan.gov/sos
The more people who come forward, the stronger our case becomes to hold Twins Auto accountable for their fraudulent and unethical practices.
This is More Than Just My Experience—It’s a Pattern of Deception
This is not just my personal experience; it’s a pattern of behavior that has affected many unsuspecting customers. Twins Auto Inc. is systematically exploiting the trust of consumers, causing financial distress and potential safety hazards due to faulty vehicles and fraudulent loan agreements.
It’s time we demand accountability from businesses like Twins Auto Inc., who profit from dishonesty at the expense of their customers’ safety and well-being. We call upon the relevant authorities to investigate these allegations thoroughly and take appropriate legal action if found guilty.
