Frank Sedita, hold accountable and charge Dep. Greg McCarthy for Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Official Misconduct and Falsely Reporting an Incident.
The Issue
"Dear Frank Sedita, all credible witness testimony and forensic evidence indicates that Detective McCarthy's shooting of Lady constituted Aggravated Cruelty to Animals. Further, the fact that he shot Lady within a few feet of a five year old girl constitutes the Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
For the Officers to then seize Lady and label her a dangerous dog 11 days later after Lady's owner exposed their crimes on Facebook is clearly retaliatory and gratuitous in nature. Legally speaking, it equates to Official Misconduct and Falsely Reporting an Incident.
We the people feel like we are living in a Police State. Please prove that nobody is above the law and hold Detective McCarthy and the other sheriffs deputies involved accountable for their crimes."
