Fly the Bosnian flag at St. Louis City Hall on Srebrenica anniversary

The Issue

St. Louis is home to 70,000 Bosnians, the largest of any in the United States and outside of Europe. Bosnians have become integrated into St. Louis culture and heritage. They have become our friends and family, and they have definitely impacted St. Louis for the better. July 11th marks the 21st anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, where more than 8,000 Bosnians were murdered. St. Louis has shown to be an accepting and inclusive city, especially with the recent introduction of the transgender flag at City Hall. This petition is asking city hall to raise the Bosnia and Herzegovina flag at City Hall from July 11-22, 2016 to recognize those lost, and to represent the large Bosnian population of St. Louis.
