Bring Jim Knox back to the Texas Rangers and Globe Life Park in Arlington

The Issue

Many Texas Rangers fans have grown to know & love Jim Knox as he has roamed around Globe Life Park for the past 15 years.  We have also enjoyed watching and participating in the fan segment of Rangers Live Postgame, where Jim talks to many of the fans who came out to the ballpark.  We would like Fox Sports Southwest to re-hire Jim Knox.  We feel that he should continue on in the role he has had for the past 15 years.  We want to give the next generation of Rangers fans the opportunity we have had to enjoy Knox's presence at all the games, and we will all miss him terribly if he is gone.  This petition goes out to all the Rangers fans who want to see Jim Knox back at FSSW.  Dawn Shepard & I enjoy the postgame show with him after each game, and also watching his entertaining and informative interviews with fans and players.  We also want Jon Daniels and John Blake of the Rangers organization to know of this petition.  Let's all come together as Rangers fans and show our support for Jim Knox!

From Dawn: "The importance of his role with the fans at Globe Life during games as he roamed the stands interacting with & looking for fans to put on the air between innings brought so much joy not only to THIS fan but also those watching from home.

"Jim's interaction with us fans was genuine and something we will miss having.  Sometimes people (fans) would hunt him down if they had a special occasion that they knew would get them a little TV time or recognition, be it celebrating a 105 year old's birthday or a newborn baby named Knox.

"We are not sure why his job was snatched from up under his feet, but we the fans want to do all we can to help keep the Jim Knox experience live on at GLP!

"For some of us it was like a ritual to attend the post game show with Knoxy where we ended the night on a high note whether the Rangers won or lost."
