Darrell Waltrip is a child in a grown mans body. He argues constantly with the other broadcasters, he's lost touch with what the cars do today, his constant screaming over Mike Joy the lead commentator at the end a race make it unwatchable. His job as a color commentator isn't to be play by play. He thinks stock car's drive still like they did in 1985. Here is 2 examples of this constant talking over Mike Joy. He does as good of a job commentating a Nascar race as he would if he commentated an F1 race he knows nothing. Larry McReynolds a man who provides Nascar races with his great insight has been reduced to talking every 20 mintues while Darrell Waltrip makes weird childish noises every 5. I feel like I'm a child watching Nascar broadcasts. Sometimes it gets so bad I have to change to the Spanish broadcast.

These are my reasons why we as Nascar fans feel Darrell Waltrip should be in the Hollywood Hotel where he would be a better use than in the booth.
