My neighbor smoking in the room, bathroom or balcony of the flat says there is no law against smoking in the house.  This may be true for an independent house.  But how can a flat be considered as independent house?  My young children and elderly and even asthma patients are either suffocated with closed windows or suffer from passive smoking unknowingly.  Work from home and online schools etc., have kept us stuck to home.  Residents who decide not to take breaks for smoking in the open area without caring about neighbors who expect some fresh air are causing a serious health hazard.  Hotels, Offices and restaurants have clear guidelines on smoking and non-smoking rooms.  Apartments must provide necessary facilities for smoking and non-smoking flats without causing any clash or declare the flats to be smoke free.  Local police do not want to interfere as they don't see it as offence.  Associations ignore it in the name of social acceptance.  Support me and other non-smokers who suffer silently with smoke or suffocation!  Thank you.
