We are a community deeply affected by the sounds of war and the rumours that follow them in Ukraine and the Middle East. Terrified families, innocent children, and communities in Ukraine and the Middle East experience the fear and uncertainty of conflict daily. We cannot endure more violence; no more war and rumours of war.

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East, which escalated dramatically in 2014 in Ukraine, has resulted in over 13,000 deaths and displaced nearly 1.4 million people from their homes, as reported by the United Nations. The aftermath of artillery shelling and gunfire is a stark reminder of the urgency of our cause.

We call upon international leaders and bodies to take firm stances against the perpetuation of violence in Ukraine and the Middle East. We need a broad, unified voice of peace that denounces these wars and celebrates pluralistic Ukrainian society. It's time to look beyond divisive narratives and support resolution processes that are willing to address the roots of these conflicts.

We appeal to the global community to urge their representatives to influence political strategy and promote peace in Ukraine and the Middle East. Undertake diplomatic efforts that focus on negotiation, aid provision, conflict resolution, and peaceful resolution. We seek to augment widespread support against the continuation of hostilities and for a peaceful Ukraine and the Middle East.
