Fortnite is one of the biggest games on the planet, and it's recent collaboration with the popular anime and manga series Kaiju No. 8 was a welcome surprise for many. The series in question, Kaiju No. 8, stars Hibino Kafka, a man who can transform into the titular Kaiju Number 8. This is the crux of the series, and this ability to transform is key to the series' iconography.

Fortnite's past inclusions of characters like Goku from the Dragon Ball series have had the ability to transform into other forms mid game through the use of emotes. Goku himself has four. He is far from the only one.

The trailer for the Kaiju No. 8 Fortnite collaboration has a moment near the end that implies that, upon using the emote sold alongside Hibino Kafka, he would transform into Kaiju Number 8. This does not happen in game, and many fans of Kaiju No. 8 consider it to be a missed opportunity.

There are already emotes that can change one character into another form. Some examples include the aforementioned Goku from Dragon Ball, as well as Eddy Brock (who can transform into Venom from Marvel Comics), Tony Stark (who can transform into Iron Man, also from Marvel Comics), and even certain Fortnite original characters like The Origin or The Ageless.

There are multiple emotes in game that change depending on the character you are playing as. The "Charging Up" emote changes its color from white to purple if you are playing as Lord Beerus from Dragon Ball. The "B.E.A.S.T GLOVE" emote changes it's sound effects to match Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, or Kong.

Hibino Kafka and Kaiju Number 8 already exist in the game as two styles for one skin, and that skin is already bundled with an emote. You cannot purchase the skin without the emote, so changing the emote to swap Kafka's current style would be the only change necessary and it would be more than possible due to the examples listed above.
