Dear Supporters--

Thanks to the pressure applied by all of YOU--parents and community--a special FWISD board meeting has been called for this evening, Tuesday, August 17, at 6:00 p.m, at the Professional Development Center, 3150 McCart Ave (at Berry). The board will consider restoring the district's mask mandate and joining other litigation against the Governor's unconstitutional executive order.

Creating a virtual learning academy option is NOT yet on the agenda, so we need to keep pushing for it too!

ACTION STEPS:

• Plan to attend the FWISD Board meeting on Tuesday evening to make your voice heard! We need everyone to show up! If you are able, please also sign up to speak. Call 817-814-1956 or email amanda.coleman@fwisd.org BEFORE 4pm to get your name on the list to make a public comment. You can also arrive early and sign up to speak until 5:50pm. We don't know the legal intricacies but we do know this: it's more important than ever that we demonstrate how much people care, so please, please, please SHOW UP and SIGN UP TO SPEAK
