Fort Bend County encourages students to practice abstinence, and the administrators do NOT allow Health teachers to educate us students on sexual health. This leads to more kids practicing sex without protection nor the proper education. We do not learn about contraceptives, how to prevent pregnancy, or how to avoid STI’s. I’ve created this petition show that students should have the right to learn about sex properly and know how to do it responsibly, rather than pushing abstinence into the mind of young students. Abstinence-only education does NOT work.
