To the voters: consider this petition the recall election we never got.  Governor Chafee embarrassed himself and the people of Rhode Island for more then four long years as Governor of Rhode Island. There is no need for this Presidential run. The people of the state " explored" Chafee as Governor and found no sign of intelligence. Please stop the national humiliation the state of Rhode Island is suffering with the Chafee candidacy for President. As President, can we assume his first order of business would be to rename the White House Christmas tree to a " holiday tree?" While Chafee was Governor, Rhode Island had the highest unemployment in New  England, a failed bridge toll, an FBI raid on the State House, and the most unfriendly business climate in the free world. As Governor, Chafee wanted to raise taxes, and had an abysmal approval rating under 25%, which prevented him from seeking a second term. Americans need to rally together to stop this progressive, pacifist, liberal, incompetent, delusional individual from polluting the early battleground states of Iowa and New Hampshire with his warped views, failed policies, and metric system.
