We, the undersigned residents and concerned parties, are filing a formal complaint against Winton Place building management for creating dangerous and unsafe indoor living conditions.

Management has continued to operate the building's heating system even as outdoor temperatures have consistently risen, resulting in indoor temperatures exceeding 90°F in some units. This is not a question of minimum heat requirements—this is the active and unnecessary injection of heat into the building at a time when it is clearly not needed.

The sustained overheating has led to unsafe living conditions, posing health risks to residents and causing damage to personal property, including spoiled food and other perishable household supplies. These conditions are unacceptable for a residential building and represent a clear disregard for resident health, safety, and basic quality of life.

We respectfully request that the City of Lakewood Housing Division investigate these practices and take immediate corrective action to ensure that resident safety is prioritized over outdated or rigid heating operations.
