The costs of renting a property have become untenable in my area. In the last 6 years, the costs of renting a property have increased by more than 50% in some cases. This has in no way matched salary increases, making living on your own almost unaffordable. This rapid increase is not sustainable and is putting immense financial pressure on many individuals and families.

We need the government to form an organisation that monitors and controls rental prices according to area, size and condition of property, and local average income. Such regulation would ensure fair pricing for tenants while maintaining reasonable returns for landlords.
