Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Fordham University has made the understandable decision to postpone our graduation this year. I am so appreciative to the University for postponing, instead of cancelling commencement, and making a promise to celebrate us when it is safe to do so. I believe our Senior Week, especially Senior Ball and Parents Appreciation Dinner should also be postponed rather than cancelled. I remember seniors and alumni talking about how special and memorable these events were and I know it is something my friends and I have been eagerly awaiting to experience ourselves. These are very uncertain and stressful times and I understand these events may not be the most pressing issues in the world but they are important to our grade and we are willing to wait for them. Fordham is a very special community and I am so grateful to be apart of it. It would mean the world to the Class of 2020 if you would sign our petition and spread the word about postponing rather than cancelling Senior Week 2020. :)
