Force YouTube to take down videos of abused macaques!

The Issue

In Cambodia there exists a vicious cycle. People there found out that if they obtain a small monkey, they can then get video views by posting many videos of the monkeys in situations that ruin their lives. These monkeys never learn how to interact with other monkeys and the 'owners' don't actually treat them correctly.

These YouTube monsters then release the monkeys into an area of Cambodia called Angkor Watt. It's the largest religious monument in the world, it's covered in macaque monkeys, so these people constantly get babies which are stolen from their mothers at easily just 2 weeks.

They treat them absolutely horribly on YouTube intentionally to get reactions from them like screaming and crying. They starve them and keep them in small cages, not for research, just to make money off of YouTube.

Having a pet is not illegal, but in Cambodia these people are not raising pets, they are intentionally inflicting distress on baby monkeys that they get from illegal markets in order to elicit responses from people on YouTube so they get more views. This gives them their only source of income so they will go through three or four babies per year at a minimum. They will create a whole new channel just for each monkey so you don't recognize them as well.

Then they abandoned the monkey at the religious monument where there are at least seven or eight people always filming stories with fake monkey names to make it seem like they're filming nature.

In reality they show up every morning with food overflowing in a box. This calls all the monkeys down from the trees and they do not have to scavenge for food. This means even the new babies that are born, Don't ever learn how to become monkeys because their parents are fat and don't have to do anything for food. This creates a very hostile and unbalanced system along with the abandoned ones to shake the system up even more.

This creates death, dismemberment, injury, and horrible psychological conditions for the monkeys. What looks to be people with pets is really people who throw the babies into the wild, and then people record them on that end so that there's a never-ending flow of cash.

YouTube thinks these are pet / nature videos and are completely unrelated. In fact they're directly related and YouTube allows this horrible practice to continue for years now.

I'm not big enough to do this on my own and I need your help. At least 50 to 100 monkeys a year are suffering if not many more because of the horrible conditions created by these cameramen and women.

Thank you for reading this far! Please sign to show YouTube that you care about monkeys being mistreated for entertainment purposes, which are made to look real to get around YouTube's abuse practices.

(Although we are getting videos pulled all the time, the ones where monkeys attack other monkeys are considered nature despite the fact that the monkeys are goaded to do so, and every other way you can think around getting around rules, they do it)

Time for YouTube to stop the fake pet / nature macaque videos now featured like Navy Dom and monkey Rainbow, Candy, Calvin, and others that suffered.

If you look up monkey Rosa, you will find a small baby that was only in a few videos before being locked in a cage, until she was big enough to abandon. Candy is her "rename" in the wild. It's one of 100 stories.
