Petition to Congress: Enforce Section 3 of the 14th Amendment NOW

 

To the Members of the United States Congress,

 

We, the undersigned citizens of the United States, demand that you enforce Section 3 of the 14th Amendment without delay. This constitutional provision was written with a clear purpose: to protect our democracy from those who would betray it. It’s time for Congress to do its job and hold accountable those who have violated their oath to uphold the Constitution.

 

Why Section 3 Matters

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment explicitly disqualifies anyone who has taken an oath of office and then engaged in insurrection, rebellion, or provided aid to enemies of the United States from holding public office. This is not a suggestion or a historical relic—it is the law of the land. Congress has a constitutional duty to enforce it, and failing to do so betrays the very Constitution you swore to defend.

What We Demand

We demand Congress immediately:

2. Enforce Disqualifications: Use every constitutional tool available to disqualify these individuals from holding any office, now or in the future. They have forfeited their right to serve.
