Legalization of The Hyaluron Pen in Canada.
Legalization of The Hyaluron Pen in Canada.
The Issue
There's a new device that has been circulating within the beauty industry, it is called the Hyaluron Pen. The Hyaluron Pen uses a sterile ampoule to deposit hyaluronic acid under the skin. With this device the hyaluronic acid can be administered to multiple places in the face such as the lips, cheek bones, marionette lines and the jawline giving you a more youthful look. After the treatment is done the ampoulrle is discarded. The Hyaluron Pen is a mist nebulizer, needless and painless the most your client will feel is a light rubber band snap when doing a treatment. This is basically the same kind of device that some diabetics use to administer their insulin. Unlike the medieval methods of using a needle to pierce the skin to deposit hyaluronic acid, the Hyluron Pen is perfect for people that want to get work done but are afraid because of the potential complications that can happen with using needles such as nerve damage, hitting blood vessels potentially killing your client. With the Hyaluron Pen those risks are virtually eliminated. There has been plastic surgeons and nurses trying to give the Hyaluron pen a bad name, circulating doctored photos and false information due to the fact that non-medical practitioners are practicing with the Hyaluron pen and taking money out of their pockets. With the Hyaluron Pen the risk factors is very low and so is the cost. Who am I.... I am a trained Hyaluron practitioner and artist. I take great pride and helping people feel better about themselves. I'm starting this petition because I know there are a lot of estheticians that would like to add the Hyaluron Pen to their practice but because of a few salty plastic surgeons and nurses this device has been deemed illegal for sale in Canada and I would like to shed some light on this matter. Signing this petition would show the FDA and Health Canada how much interest there really is in this device conduct whatever tests need to be done and hopefully they would lift the ban on this product.
