FLVS DBAs are hated by at least 95% of FLVS students. They're forced to take them even if they have problems such as social anxiety. I myself have social anxiety and I withdrew from all 6 of my FLVS classes due to the fact that I have to do a DBA. I don't care if there's only 4 DBAs or 1, I will rather suffer than have to do one. No matter how many time's you tell me that it's just a call and I'll be fine, or that I shouldn't be scared, IT WON'T CHANGE ANYTHING!

It's been many, many months and I want to take an FLVS class, but I can't stop thinking about the DBAs. I love FLVS, but DBAs are what make 100s change to 0s.

I do understand that some people like them, and of course, that's okay. I don't want to get rid of DBAs, I just want to make them optional. If you feel ready, then don't take the DBA. If you don't feel ready, then maybe it's best to take one to test your knowledge.

(Of course, some DBAs are needed to prove a student isn't cheating. If a student is failing the class, it should be mandatory to take the DBA, but if they're passing, it shouldn't be mandatory. Also, if the teacher notices a weird pattern in the student's grades, they should have a mandatory DBA. I made this update due to a comment made by someone.)
