"2021 Officially Becomes Worst Year in Recent History for LGBTQ State Legislative Attacks as Unprecedented Number of States Enact Record-Shattering Number of Anti-LGBTQ Measures Into Law" - HCR

More than a 100 bills have been introduced by thirty-three states in the country to curb the rights of transgender community. Out of these, thirty-one states have introduced bills that prevent trans athletes from participating in sports consistent with their gender identities (CNN, 2021).

These sports bills are another attack on the transgender community and its rights. They will not only harm trans athletes of all ages, but also inculcate in sections of society the urge to ostracize and discriminate against the entire trans community.
