This petition exists to voice opposition to a proposed solar array power plant on farmland in Florence Township NJ. This project is in a residential area on the border of Florence and Burlington Townships.

For health, safety, environmental, economic, aesthetic and other reasons, we vigorously oppose the construction of a solar array power plant in Florence Township, NJ. This project proposes 110,576 3-foot-by-5-foot panels mounted 6.5 feet high with associated maintenance and inverter buildings, all surrounded by an 8 foot chain link fence The 137-acre farmland is bordered by wooded areas, wetlands, protected species and residences in Florence and Burlington Townships.
