We’re students at MICDS, and we’re asking our fellow classmates to help us push back on the recent enforcement of the no-flip-flops policy.
Our school prides itself on both academic rigor and intense athletics. We’re in school from 8:00 to 3:15, followed by two hours of practice, followed by hours of homework. Long days, heavy workloads, high expectations — and when the classes are this demanding, comfortable footwear during the school day isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.
