This petition is intended to garner support for Flock Safety ALPR Cameras throughout Elyson.

These cameras are deployed throughout the region and all agencies, including Katy PD, HCSO, and HPD, have access. Fulshear has several and private companies like Home Depot and Bucees have these installed as well. HOAs like River Oaks, Tanglewood, Westview, and dozens more have installed these cameras too. As a law enforcement officer in our area, I cannot stress how much of an asset this tool is for proactive investigations as well as developing leads in violent crimes that would otherwise go unsolved (like the shooting this week at the basketball courts).

I  have personally used this tool to solve Amber Alerts, Auto Thefts, and Aggravated Robberies and Assaults.
