We the residents and surround residents of Likens Subdivision are petitioning to the Flagler county commissioners to vote No 2/1 to vacate a portion of Pamela pkwy for the sole purpose of erecting a sea wall in place of our community boat ramp. 
The Residents of the area use this right of way boat ramp to launch boats, jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, go fishing, swimming and enjoy the beautiful sunset on the intracostal waterway.
Resident have enjoyed using this community access for 32 years.  This was put in place in 1964 by Roy Likens who used this access as a selling point for all property in the community.  It currently has added to value of all the residents properties. 

The right of way also allows water to drain from the road to the ICW which has prevented houses in the neighborhood  from flooding.  The county has not maintained this right of way for many years now.  Two people have petitioned the county to request that the county “Give” then the right of way community ramp in return it will become private property and no resident will have access to the ICW. The two people will them erect a sea wall where our community boat ramp currently exists

The seawall may cause other houses to flood as there would no longer be a drainage system for water.
