We, the students of Vanguard Rembrandt, are asking for immediate action to fix the student parking lot. Every time it rains — even a little — the lot turns into a muddy mess. Cars get stuck, students have to push each other out, and everyone ends up covered in mud just trying to get to class.

The parking area is basically just a plot of dirt, and despite many complaints, nothing has been done. Students pay for parking permits every year, so that money should go toward improvements — like paving the lot or adding proper drainage.

Not everyone drives a truck or 4x4, and it’s unfair that smaller cars constantly get stuck. We deserve a safe, reliable place to park. It’s time the administration uses our parking fees to create a proper, paved parking lot for students.I’m
