America's school system has prominent bullying problems to someone's race gender identity sexuality how smart they are. All of these can affect the child's future from trusting people speaking out and even in school itself. But what's done about it? Nothing. 

School lunches are meant to be nutritious and energizing enough to get a kid through the school day. But in America, many of our school lunches are unhealthy and promote obesity unless you are in a private school, food is also described as disgusting and sometimes unedible. For the kids who can't afford it. Oh well. That's what these schools are telling us.

And due to this teacher shortage and before many schools have hired very unsupportive and unqualified teachers. But it's also a problem with how we pay our teachers. With such low salaries, why would they want to work they're barely paid enough to care.

Now let's talk about standardized testing. The whole idea of standardized testing is very old-fashioned. Since we know more about neurodivergent and people with anxiety ADHD autism and many more things then why do we still base someone's whole grade and basically whole life on whether or not a kid can test take well? oh, you didn't do well on the sat because your a neurodivergent kid who is very smart but can't test because of focus issues or anxiety? to bad. Are we really this far in society and understanding but we still can't help the children who our school system was built against?

Also, I believe that kids in Elementary and Middle school should take basic classes like Math, ELA, Science, and Social studies but High school kids could choose what classes they want to take based on what career they want to do. If they changed their mind about the career path they wanted to take then they could. Children need more freedom to choose what they want to do rather than be forced to learn things that they won't even use.
