Dear Mayor, Hon Danny Pearson MP, and Hon Ben Carroll MP,

Given the recent sad fatality following so closely after a vehicle accident on the same day, as well as another pedestrian accident in recent days, we, the undersigned, feel compelled to contact you about the ongoing safety concerns regarding the Roundabouts at Essendon North, one located at the intersection of Lincoln Road, Mt Alexander Road, Bulla Road, and Keilor Road and the other connecting Glass Street, Leake St, Mt Alexander Rd, and Winifred St. This intersection has a history of accidents and fatalities, making it a dangerous and treacherous place for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

We call upon you to take action and demand VicRoads to invest in improving this Roundabout. We know that you have taken some action in the past but this simply hasn’t been enough to fix decades of inaction on an intersection where the population has grown massively and the dangers are only increasing.

We want you to join us in demanding VicRoads invest in fixing this intersection - to get them to take the necessary steps to make this intersection safer for all those who use it. It must be done. It must be done now. Before someone else dies.
