The Fireface 800 is perhaps one of the top gun audio interfaces ever made by RME. Along the years, RME has been great at updating their drivers despite the 'walls' that Apple and Windows build around their OSes.

Nevertheless, users with MacPros 5.1, or similar are presenting difficulties with the drivers of the unit when upgrading to Monterey using firewire 800, leaving useless our beloved interfaces. We don't want to change the interface! Specially when things are economically difficult in the world, and the quality of audio interfaces are not always the desirable. 

If RME decides to fix this issue with their driver, we all could benefit from it, keeping our heads and hearts into music, instead of frustrating every time we are trying to make music.
