Fix Prosinski Park for our baseball team!

Fix Prosinski Park for our baseball team!
The Issue
Our baseball field is in desperate need of attention and fixing. The City of Buffalo continues to disregard and neglect our local baseball team’s fields. Not only at Prosinski but the complex on the West side of town has 4 fields with their own host of serious issues.
Our Post 13 Legion baseball team relies on Prosinski to practice and play. On their opening game of the season a car ran through their dugout and fence. It has been more than a month and nothing has been done to fix this other than a temporary orange construction fence that has already fallen. On their first evening game, they had to cut it short and almost forfeit the game due to the lights above home plate not working. This was requested to be fixed over a week before this game and the City of Buffalo once again disregarded this request with no valid reason to not address this. The team now has moved all of their evening games to afternoons because they cannot play after dark without forfeiting. This is not fair to a group of boys who just want to play their game.
The City of Buffalo and their employees should no longer get away from the neglect and disregard they show to the people and places who they serve. Maintaining the parks and our city well is the least they can do from the long list of what they’re expected to. Fixing Prosinski is not a large undertaking or impossible ask. In the grand scheme of all the things it needs, a fence and lights are not much at all. Sign and demand the Johnson County Recreation District and City of Buffalo act!
