Subject: Memorandum regarding education-related issues and comprehensive reforms in the education system.
Respected Sir,
We, the concerned students, parents, teachers, and citizens, respectfully submit this memorandum to draw your attention towards the growing concerns surrounding India's education and examination system. Repeated examination irregularities, rising financial burdens on students, and concerns regarding transparency and accountability have created widespread anxiety among lakhs of aspirants.
The alleged NEET paper leak and similar incidents have raised serious questions about the credibility of competitive examinations. At the same time, the increasing application fees, high charges for challenging answer keys, and reports concerning.
In this regard, we request you to raise the following demands before the appropriate authorities:
Our Demands
1. Ensure transparency, accountability, and fairness in all competitive examinations.
2. Conduct a time-bound investigation into the alleged NEET paper leak and take strict action against those responsible.
3. Strengthen examination security to prevent paper leaks and other irregularities.
4. Reduce application fees for competitive examinations to make them affordable for all students.
5. Eliminate or significantly reduce the fees for challenging answer keys and seeking re-evaluation of disputed questions.
6. Respect the democratic rights of peaceful protesters at Jantar Mantar and support their legitimate demands.
7. Seek accountability for the handling of examination issues and request an official apology if unnecessary force was used against peaceful protesters.
8. Raise the demand for the resignation of the Union Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, on grounds of ministerial accountability.
9. Provide appropriate compensation, in accordance with law and government policy, to eligible families of students whose deaths by suicide are found by the competent authorities to be linked to examination-related distress.
10. Establish an independent grievance redressal mechanism and implement comprehensive reforms to restore public trust in the education system.
Sir, education is the foundation of a nation's future. Every student deserves a transparent, fair, affordable, and accountable education system. We sincerely request you to raise these concerns before the concerned authorities and support meaningful reforms that protect the interests of students and strengthen public trust in India's education system.
