I have a plan, and I hope it works! After this promotion completes, I will reset the scope of this petition to “National” and will target certain explicit countries the next time I chip in, in order to get a more evenly distributed pattern of UK/international signatures.
In order to understand why I have so few international signatures, I have done some research into how change.org operates and apparently the “local”, “national” and “global” scopes only work and live up to their name when a user (either the campaigner or a supporter) pays to promote the petition which is then advertised on feeds by the platform. “Local” petitions however can still receive organic signatures if I look for them directly (such as the local petitions in NYC about Orthodox recognition, which I can fully access and sign so local visibility is not blocked to other users), and are fully accessible to users in other countries.
I took the 'global' option literally due to my autism.
With that said, the five official goals of the campaign are as follows:
Goal #1 – the titular goal of the petition which is to fix Easter to March 22 in either the years 2043, 2054 or 2065 (currently scheduled for March 29, although early, still a week later than the earliest possible date).
Goal #2 – Highlighting the lack of official recognition for Orthodox/Coptic holidays in the Republic of Ireland, USA, South Africa, Canada, New Zealand, Australia IN ADDITION to our home country, the United Kingdom.
Goal #3 – Raising awareness about autism and neurodiversity WORLDWIDE.
Goal #4 – Sharing a very personal story about celebrating Easter on March 22nd 2026 with the world.
Goal #5 – A UK-centric goal and that is to educate the British public the truth about how dark summer nights get here in the UK (along with Ireland).
While it is true that some of my campaign’s sub-goals are UK-centric (within Goal #2 - highlighting the lack of recognition for Orthodox holidays); such as getting the UK government to officially convert its “Early May” bank holiday to an “Orthodox Easter Monday” bank holiday, urging British retailers to list both Western and Orthodox Easter dates, urging UK parks and community centres to “pause-and-resume” Easter activities in large gap years, redistributing UK school term dates and Goal #5, to end the UK (and Ireland's) population’s ignorance about astronomical twilight lasting all night during June in their own home country, Goal #1, the titular goal to officially fix Easter to Sunday March 22nd before we die, cannot be achieved with a 90% British audience and the campaign is destined to fail with this much British support!
It is also true that I have shared some UK-centric trivia and stories in my May 2026 campaign updates regarding getting my father to drive certain routes from London to Liverpool and South Wales, as well as UK domestic flight path data such as the specific route between Heathrow and Aberdeen (which is within Goals #3, #4, sharing my personal story about living with neurodiversity), again the titular goal to officially fix Easter to Sunday March 22nd before we die, cannot be achieved with so few international signatures (0 from New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and Ireland)!
Therefore, the shock of the “horrible data on my spreadsheets” has shifted the tone of the campaign and I am urging all of you (my 350+ UK supporters) to share this campaign on international feeds to reduce the overall British dominance.
In my March 2026 update titled “I’m going to be famous worldwide for celebrating Easter on March 22nd 2026!”, I included a photo of the Union flag in my campaign update because I, at the time, thought I had an influx of international supporters, thinking my update was being seen by millions of people worldwide!I even used the phrase "in my native United Kingdom" in an early update not realising my campaign was failing internationally.
My spreadsheet data revealed the AGONISING TRUTH and I even had to correct one of my earlier updates from March 2026, claiming that I’d “let people in Canada and New Zealand know” only to realise I (at the time) was completely wrong and had ZERO CANADIAN OR KIWI SIGNATURES!!
I will wait a while before I post my next (50th) update, either celebrating a milestone or an emergency update and once this promotion finishes, will officially change my scope to "National" in an attempt to get fewer signatures from Great Sh*tain!

Out of protest and anger, I AM DELIBERATELY SEARCHING FOR AND SIGNING PETITIONS FROM AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, SOUTH AFRICA, CANADA, THE USA AND IRELAND despite them not being related to my own cause but in protest of the true lack of signatures from over there!
