Fix Canada’s housing crisis

Fix Canada’s housing crisis
The Issue
Canada’s housing crisis has become a major problem, especially for teenagers and young adults planning for their futures. Over the last few years, the prices of houses and rent have gone up much faster than people’s wages. In many Canadian cities, people with regular or entry-level jobs cannot easily afford to buy a house or even rent an apartment. This problem is especially serious in cities such as Toronto, where housing prices are very high.
Today, Canada’s housing crisis is still getting worse in many areas. Rent and housing prices remain very high, especially in cities like Toronto. Many teenagers and young adults worry that they may never be able to afford a home in the future. Even renting an apartment has become difficult because prices continue to rise faster than wages.
Housing is not a privilege, but a right. We want to raise awareness about Canada’s housing crisis and help teenagers prepare for the financial challenges of adulthood, including housing affordability, rent, and cost of living.
Sign the petition today to urge our government to adopt measures that ensure safe, affordable, and accessible housing for every individual, all across Canada.
