Students already have no motivation to start school at 8:30 in the morning. The school gives over a days worth of work in the 4 hours we are in school, some kids cannot complete these assignments within the time the assignments are due. some kids have to work or have family issues that should be focused on instead of a 30 page essay. Students are already stressed out when they have nothing to do due to Covid-19, such as school activities ,sports , party. I can speak for every student who attends fitchburg high school, all we need is a little less homework and maybe another day off like friday or monday.
