Fishisfast employees have been working very hard prior to and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Fishisfast is a warehouse located in New Castle, DE. We, as employees of this company, have not gotten any compensation for having to work through this pandemic.

What makes matters worse is, Fishisfast is a shipping/receiving warehouse. Meaning, we're getting packages from all over the world, opening them, and repacking them into different boxes. This means that we are more prone to coming in contact with this virus than a lot of other businesses that have been deemed "essential". If we absolutely HAVE TO work in conditions like this, the Fishisfast Community feels that we should get paid more. Through this pandemic, there have been no changes regarding pay for being essential.

Our work conditions have also not been the greatest. There is no air conditioning for our workers inside the warehouse itself. Only fans. They provide AC in the breakroom, but between our two paid 10-minute breaks and one paid 30-minute lunch, that's not nearly enough to cool everyone off for the amount of time that we have to be there. 

In conclusion, air conditioning would make everything else not as bad. We just want to be heard, as essential workers who proudly do our job for the love of our customers. Thank you.
