Fire Tim Kiser from city manager position

Fire Tim Kiser from city manager position
The Issue
I have lived in Grass Valley, CA for many years, and it's become evident that Tim Kiser, our current city manager, does not have the best interests of our beloved town at heart. It feels as though he doesn’t care about the rich history we cherish, nor does he care about the people who call this place home. His primary focus seems to be money and investments that often don't align with our community's true needs.
Under Mr. Kiser's leadership, millions of dollars have been spent on non-essential projects that fail to reflect the unique character and priorities of Grass Valley. Instead of preserving our historic sites or supporting local businesses, there appears to be a disproportionate emphasis on developments that financially benefit a select few while ignoring the community's voice and well-being.
Data has shown the financial imbalances in the town's spending under his management, leading to unnecessary strain on our local economy. Local businesses struggle while funds are funneled into ventures that offer little to no common benefit. The essence of what makes Grass Valley special could be lost if we continue on this path.
This is not just about financial decisions; it's about who we are as a community. We are a town rich with history and camaraderie, and it's crucial that we have a leader who understands and champions these values. We need a city manager who prioritizes both the preservation of our past and the preparation for a sustainable and inclusive future.
By signing this petition, you join me and many others in Grass Valley who advocate for a change in leadership. It's time to have someone who genuinely appreciates our town’s history, listens to its people, and uses our resources wisely. Please sign this petition to urge the powers that be to relieve Tim Kiser of his duties and seek a city manager dedicated to the betterment of Grass Valley for its residents and future generations.
Let's ensure Grass Valley remains a place we are proud to call home.
