The Issue

As a parent in North Carolina, the safety and well-being of our children is my utmost priority. When we entrust our children to schools, we assume that every aspect from education to extracurricular services upholds the highest standards of care and integrity. Yet, the continued association of Lifetouch Photography, a company utilized by countless school districts for school photographs, with Leon Black, a financier linked to the criminal dealings of Jeffrey Epstein, raises grave concerns.

Leon Black has been publicly reported to have ties with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender. This relationship casts a shadow over every company he is involved with, including Lifetouch Photography. As influential as Leon Black's investments might be, the implication of associating with someone involved with such glaring misconduct is both alarming and unacceptable.

According to reputable sources, Jeffrey Epstein's transgressions are not just minor infractions; they represent a highly publicized history of exploitation and abuse. Consequently, any connection to Epstein should be scrutinized meticulously and, when found tied to services involving children, severed immediately.

Our schools should reflect the values we teach our children: that integrity, safety, and morality matter. By continuing to employ Lifetouch Photography while it remains linked to such dubious figures, we inadvertently send a conflicting message to our youngsters. It is imperative that we distance our educational environments from any vestiges of criminal activity.

Therefore, I urge the state of North Carolina and its school districts to terminate all contracts with Lifetouch Photography immediately. We need to procure services from companies that are not only exceptional in their field but also uncompromised by a tainted associativity. We have the responsibility to act decisively and safeguard our children's environment, ensuring it remains free from any shadow of unethical influence.

We must take a stand! If Lifetouch stays, we don't allow pictures to be taken of our children!

Sign this petition to demand that North Carolina prioritizes our children's safety and values by severing ties with Lifetouch Photography.
