FBI Special Agent Paul LeVeille was an experienced pilot with the FBI. On September 1, 1999, he was killed during an FBI-sponsored mountain flying training. He is listed on the FBI's Wall of Honor, among the agents the Bureau says gave their lives in the line of duty.

The Bureau's own internal review board recorded findings it never listed as causes, including that the program had no curriculum, no safety checks, and used an unauthorized aircraft which the board itself called underpowered. Our family believes these omitted findings show the real cause of the crash was the FBI's own gross negligence, not pilot error. The FBI conveniently chose to blame the dead because the dead can't speak.

For years, our family fought for the FBI's records on what actually happened. In 2026, the FBI finally admitted something in writing: records related to our father's death were destroyed, and other records which it says do exist cannot be found. The FBI will not say when, how, or under whose order. The same agency that put our father's picture on its own "Wall Of Honor" will not do the honorable thing of telling his own widow and children the truth about how and why he died.

Kash Patel is the current Director of the FBI. Under his leadership, our family has continued to be stonewalled, billed for FOIA records despite Paul already having paid the ultimate price, and told that evidence in a federal agent's death has been destroyed or is simply gone. Therefore, we are calling for Kash Patel's removal, and for every other official, past or present, who caused this or is currently covering it up to be identified and held accountable under the law.

We are calling for the full and complete release of every file the federal government holds regarding Paul LeVeille's death. No more delays, no more destruction of evidence, no more redactions, no more excuses. We are also calling on Congress to investigate how our father died and how portions of his file disappeared, and to pass the private bill our family has drafted so long overdue reparations can finally be paid.

Our own Congresswoman, Sheri Biggs, refused to meet with us for nine months, then told us she wouldn't sponsor our private bill for reparations because she didn't want to mess up what she's working on with President Trump. She didn't specify what that is exactly, but she has since voted to send billions of our tax dollars to Israel... Apparently, Israel comes first. Wrongfully killed U.S. veterans who are killed by their own government come last. 

Paul LeVeille gave his life in service to this country. It's time this country served Paul LeVeille. Let justice be done!
