As passionate supporters and stakeholders of Kansas State University, we have witnessed the legacy of excellence built by Coach Bill Snyder being eroded by poor leadership decisions. This petition calls for immediate action to address the shortcomings jeopardizing our Wildcats' future.

Head Coach Chris Klieman and Offensive Coordinator Matt Wells have not met the expectations of the Kansas State community, resulting in lackluster performances on the field. These performances not only affect the team but also cast a shadow on the hard work and dedication of our student-athletes. With the resources and talent available, it is unacceptable to settle for mediocrity.

Furthermore, Athletic Director Gene Taylor's oversight has failed to bring about progressive changes and adaptive strategies necessary in the highly competitive collegiate sports environment. A change in leadership is essential to reinstate the pride and competitive edge synonymous with Kansas State football.

Gene Taylor's responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards of coaching and management. By dismissing Chris Klieman and Matt Wells, we can begin the process of rebuilding and revitalizing our program. After fulfilling these tasks, we believe it is in the best interest of Kansas State University for Gene Taylor to step down as Athletic Director, clearing the path for new leadership committed to restoring glory to Wildcat football.
