The Prime Minister of India requests all the people of the nation to give up the LPG subsidy so that the same can be passed on to the poor people.

I have one question for the same, if we can give up LPG Subsidy then why cant they give up the taxation on the LPG gas stove.

The Gas stove and the Gas cylinder are like cup and saucer, that is both are inter dependent.

To use the cylinder, the common man has to buy gas stove by paying VAT @ 14-15 % + Excise 10-15% + Profit 10-30% and the burden is again on the head of the poor people.

How can the poor be benefited just buy taking cylinder, gas stove is also the essential part of the usage and the cylinder is waste without it.

The govt has various policy, where in all the essential commodity are tax free or taxed at lesser rate, then why cant the LPG gas stove be taxed less.

Why cant the govt reduce the taxation on the gas stoves so that the proper use of the cylinder can be made.

This petition is made for the welfare of the poor people.
