The signatories to the petition has reached 1346 now. Though the pace is slow process of online signature is still continuing in spite of the fact the majority  of bank retirees /pensioners are not having laptops/ computers with them. Majority of pensioners are also not aware about digital signature / signing online.Now only recourse for them is to approach nearby cybercafes and sign online with their help with meagre charges. As I  have already said that timing  of the petition is Change in guard at finance ministry by MS. Nirmala Seetharaman who has handled different ministries such as commerce and Defence. She is I hope will look into this petition with a open mind and give solution to 20 year old problem. While central/state pensioners are getting revision through the pay commission appointed by the central government. The revision is borne by budgetory allocations. Then why the central  government  is harping on profitability to bank pensioners. Why this disparity and step motherly treatment madam. So I plead with the finance minister to consider  the above points while looking  into the matter. Please give justice to bank pensioners atleast now.
